Charissa Thompson

Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in 2010, and did double duty as a host for both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage and recorded web video for the highly loved Yahoo platform. This included leading Yahoo's coverage of major sporting events, such as The 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. Her success in both sports has led her to joining ESPN in August 2011, and she was promoted to host for the new afternoon show "Numbers Never Lie." In July 2012, she switched to the popular "SportsNation," enjoying a great run which lasted till she left the network to return to Los Angeles for the launch of FS1 in May 2013. Thompson is a huge sporting fan but is proving her versatility to move into entertainment. In June 2014, after several part-time jobs, Thompson was appointed as the permanent host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra".
